There are 44 different nations participating in the Citi Paraswimming World Series in Lignano Sabbiadoro 2023. On the third day of competition, Italy leads the medal table, followed by Brazil and the Netherlands, and for the junior category, Poland wins 3 golds, 3 silvers, and 1 bronze.
Coaches Leonardo Tomasello and Beata Pożarowszczyk-Kuczko of Brazil and Poland, respectively, are very pleased with the results of their athletes. In particular, Tomasello believes that the Brazilian athletes (8 competing) are achieving their most impressive times. “The timing is very crucial to prove the athletes’ performance to Brazil, in view of our next goal: Manchester.” Pożarowszczyk-Kuczko is also very happy with the work of her athletes. “The guys are grateful to be here, for the results and medals that come with it, especially the juniors. I am sure we will be back next year.”
The athletes are enthusiastic about the hospitality of the Bella Italia Efa Village in Lignano Sabbiadoro. This is because they have the autonomy to get to the pool and for the positive atmosphere there.
